We spent 25 years researching the best way to teach self-defense and have developed a unique program to teach everyday normal people how to protect themselves fast. When you take our training, you get access to 25 years of research on real-world self-defense for everyday normal people.

Who Are Our Self Defence Lessons For?

Our courses are for all. We teach people from 18 to 80, and we also have a special program for teens where they can train with their parents. There's no previous experience required. Our course is all about teaching everyday, normal people with no previous experience how to protect themselves fast.

 

 Course Format and Options

12-Week Self Defence Course

The 12-week course runs weekly, once a week. Classes are over 90 minutes and  run from 7:00 to 8:30 Monday aor Wednesday evenings. The course structure assumes no previous training. The class starts assuming people have absolutely no experience in self-defense and builds week by week so that you learn effective self-defense in a fast, safe, and professional environment.

 

Weekend Self Defence Course

the weekend course covers the same material as the 12-week course in a more compact session. The classes run 9:30 to 5:00 both days, with a lunch and breaks in between. The classes are designed so that anyone can complete them. There are plenty of breaks and rests

 

Private and Corporate Lessons

we also provide the option to take some or all of our complete course in private and small group sessions. These are suitable for individuals who cannot take our full courses or for companies and organizations who want to support our staff

Where Our Self Defence Lessons Take Place

the training takes place in our dedicated training center at 29 Avenue Road. This is a five-minute walk from Harker Street and just off the South Circular Road. We are close to Charlemount  stop and with plenty of bus routes and parking around

Patrick Cumiskey is a pioneer in self-defense training in Ireland, being the first Irish person to become qualified to teach Krav Maga in 2001. With 25 years of experience, he has  devoted himself to training everyday people in effective self-defense techniques that can be applied in real-world situations. Patrick's approach centers around creating a safe and supportive learning environment where students can quickly gain confidence and practical skills.

Pricing and How to Book

The full course fee is 395; however, we offer an early booking discount, so the course, when booked early, is 195 per person. You can book with the full fee or by paying a deposit of 25 euro, with the remaining fee due two weeks before the course.
